E nga iwi, e nga reo, e nga Karangatanga maha o nga hau e wha, tenei te mihi atu ki a koutou katoa.

Mai I Te Ahu a Turanga, ka rere iho ki te kainga o te Papai-o-ea, ka rere nei te Awa, Ko te Manawatu tera, nau mai ra ki te rohe nei.

All peoples, all voices, and all alliances from the four winds… we greet you all.

From the peaks of our sacred mountains flowing through to our home land of Papaioea (Palmerston North); from our strong flowing river of the Manawatu, we warmly welcome you.
